Holy Mary Institute of Technology & Science was established in the year 2001 by Holy Trinity Educational Society. It is promoted by the well-known Educationalist and Philanthropists Sri Dr. Arimanda Vara Prasad Reddy, Honorable Founder Chairman, Smt. Dr. A. Vijaya Sarada Reddy, Honorable Founder Secretary. Sri A. Siddhartha Reddy was the Honorable Chairman and Dr. J B V Subrahmanyam is the Principal. Since the inception, HITS aims to create value-based technical excellence, which ultimately leads to the development of the rural/urban areas where the college is situated. College of Engineering has well equipped laboratories, library, fully furnished class rooms, staff rooms, dedicated faculty and other facilities. The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Accredited by NAAC-‘A’ Grade and is permanently affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. The College is located in a 100 acres integrated campus housing Pharmacy College, Management College and one B.Ed. College also. The College has been allotted 11.20 acres land. The built up area is 2, 50, 000 sq. ft. Today HITS has grown in leaps and bounds and it is no wonder that HITS has become cynosure of the eyes of many which in now an Autonomous Institution for a period of 10 years from 2021. The College strives to impart qualitative technical education through innovative teaching methodologies. The college strives to establish itself as a world class education center for teaching, learning, research & training, with modern facilities and vast expanded landscape. The college campus provides perfect ambience for higher learning, the infrastructure includes class rooms, laboratories, workshops, central library, departmental libraries, sports facilities, seminar room, auditorium, open air auditorium, one boy’s hostel and one girl’s hostel and is an inspiring institute with the state of the art facilities for students to meet the requirements of the industry.
